can anybody count

I am so tired of hearing about the Democratic mandate against the war.  The people have spoken! The election results show America is united against the war.  What a bunch of bull.  Did anyone look at the election results.

69 %  of the House voted in 2002 to authorize the President to go to war in Iraq. 296-133  Unfortunately 6 Republicans voted against.

The news nobody wants you to know 94.9% of all incumbents running in 2006 won re-election. 385-22 Furthermore of those six Republicans who voted against the war only one is still in the House.

What does this mean?  What this means is that clearly more Americans voted for Congressman who voted for the war then Americans that voted for Congressman that voted against the war.  The American people HAVE spoken, it's just nobody is listening.  Most Americans believe the war is just and victory is necessary.

The Democratic controlled media wants you to believe that the Democratic gains in the House were an anti war vote.  This is just not true.  The losses in the House in the midterm of a lame duck President are not only predictable but expected.
